EPIGAP OSA Photonics stands for excellence in semiconductor manufacturing of LEDs. In our production facilities in Berlin, Germany we manufacture LED chips, Monolithic Displays, Surface-Mount Device (SMD) and Through-Hole Technology (THT) LEDs and PDs. We also use our experience to develop custom LEDs and Photonic Assenblies for industrial, medical and security industries.

High power 490 SMDs are assembled with lenses suitable for high brightness applications. Special ceramic submount offers excellent heat dissipation.
430-450 SMD series is well suited for UV LEDs due to good heat dissipation, robust sealing and wire variety of UV-transparent lenses that can be applied.
400 SMD series are based on a Al2O3 ceramic carrier for very good heat dissipation and stability. Small footprint is suitable for compact applications.

100 Series SMDs are very popular due to their small footprint and ease of assembly.
330 Series SMDs have a 40° view angle lens for increased brightness in small footprint.

Compact 170 series is a very small SMD LED. WIth just 1.9 x 1.2 mm footprint, it offers easy handling and supreme mechanical stability.
THTs (Through-Hole Technology devices) are components suitable for inserting into PCB. TO-cans are designed for extreme conditions with a wide operating temperature range and flexibility in light collimation down to 7 degrees. These robust LEDs ensure superior hermeticity with metal-to-metal or glass-to-metal seals and are conveniently mountable in various housings.
